Shawn Thomas Goodman Charged With Aggravated Assault

Shawn Thomas Goodman, 27, was arrested on Tuesday by the Bell County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The incident occurred on February 15th, when deputies responded to a stabbing at an address off Tallow Drive in Central Bell County. Upon their arrival, they found the victim had suffered an evisceration. A medevac helicopter airlifted the victim to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple. The victim received treatment for a missing organ. Following treatment, the hospital discharged the victim. The Bell County Jail holds Goodman on a bond amount of $150,000. Shawn Thomas Goodman is also facing a Class B misdemeanor charge for marijuana possession under 5 ounces.
